As the direct entry and UTME registration comes in and out, candidate encount what i call JAMB DIRECT ENTRY REGULARIZATION problem.
De (direct entry) candidate begin to ask questions like can i do direct entry registration without jamb regularization?
This phrase “JAMB REGULARIZATION” sounds strange to most of the applicants as they just hearing it for the first time, when they got to the point of registration.
so what on earth is regularization?
What is jamb regularization?
Jamb regularization now called “Late JAMB expo 2023 Application” is a means by which jamb gives candidate who are in any polytechnic or college of education opportunity to have a valid jamb registration number.
It is a means of ensuring that the Board validates candidates current admission details with the school that offered admission to such candidates. It is usually done in their database.
Who Need Jamb Regularization?
Any student, or graduate that found his/her admission status as “not yet admitted” on JAMB website.
100 Level to final students admitted through Pre Degree Programmes without admission information (sometimes registration number) with JAMB.
Students with double admssion who decided to accept one of the schools not recognised by JAMB.
Those who gained admission without passing through Jamb and now have (ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, etc).
Now over to our problem of registering DE Without JAMB Number/Regularization Approval…
Can i do direct entry registration without jamb regularization?
No
You can’t do direct entry Registration Without Regularization Approval from jamb.
For you to do jamb DE, You need to have a valid jamb registration number either from the previous jamb you wrote or after doing jamb regularization.
And if you submitted any for the regularisation approval, it would not be active in the JAMB’s database until you get the official notice that, the number has been approved.
